Dr. Lieberman graduated from Cornell University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery training in Santa Barbara, California, and then spent two years with the National Health Service Corps in Palm Beach County, Florida, before completing his urology residency at Georgetown in 1988. Having been in practice for over 23 years, he has a broad experience in the treatment of all urological problems in both men and women, but has an interest in the minimally invasive treatment of stone disease, benign and malignant diseases of the prostate and bladder, erectile dysfunction, and vasectomy. He specializes in radioactive seed implantation (brachytherapy) for the treatment of prostate cancer.
Dr. Lieberman has been recognized as one of the region’s top urologists in multiple issues of Washingtonian Magazine‘s Top Doctors. He has also been mentioned consistently in Consumer Checkbook, and Washington Post Magazine’s Super Doctors.
He and his wife, an artist, have a son and a daughter who are graduates of Indiana University and Georgetown University.
